Shift Performance EG Build

 

Ok guys we have been working on a project car of our own for some time now and we know that a few of you have seen it along the way so we have decided to post up some pics.

Stage 1:

We brought an EG4 "BREEZE" yes a breeze that was in pretty bad shape

Fitted with the 1.3L Carb engine producing a massive 55kW @ 6300rpm

Stage 2:

The car was stripped inside and out and sent away for paint 

Engine and gearbox out with some help from Ross from Ross' Mobile Mechanical Services

Stage 3:

Car was prepared for painting 

 

The Beast gets a new coat of paint in Satin Black

 

Stage 4:

We bought a B18C from a wrecked Integra DC2 Type R

then we cleaned it up and added a new set of pipes

 

 Next we fitted the gear box with a new clutch

and fitted a new set of belts

Then dropped in the new Heart 

Stage 5:

We grabed a Moroso baffled Kicked-Out Sump  uping the oil Capacity to 5.2 Liters

and fitted it to the engine

Stage 6:Cooling Upgrade

Mishimoto 42mm Performance Aluminum Radiator

We fitted the original thermo Fan

then fitted the radiator to the car with a  set of Samco hoses

Stage 7:Brakes

We decided that the original Civic breeze brakes wouldnt be able to handle the power of the new engine upgrade so we started by fitting an Integra DC2 Type R Brake booster

then grabed a Nashin 282mm Front rotor upgrade kit

Standard 240mm Front rotor V's Nashin 282mm rotor

Brake kit fitted

STAGE 8: Next was time to take care of the Handling

Thanks to Racing Logic Australia we fitted a set of Ultra Complex

Next we strengthened the chassis with thanks To Ultra Racing Australia

we started with strut tower braces

STEP 8-

Next we got a Sparco Circuit pro FIA bucket seat and Harness to hold us in place

and fitted a Nice Blox Neo shift knob


STEP 9-Finishing off the Engine bay

Intake -Simota Big tube

and finished of the Engine bay with

Intake -custom alloy air filter box

Ignition-set of split fire 8.8mm leads & NGK Iridium Plugs

Handling - Ultra racing 3 point strut tower brace

and last a set of Innovative 75A Track Billet Engine mounts

 


Step 10

-Battery relocated to the back  for balance


 STEP 11-Exhaust system

Fitted a stainless X-Force cat back system with a cannon thanks to the guys at

 X-Force.
