Mitsubishi EVO 7, 8, 8MR, and 9 Cabin Filter
The cabin filter slide into the fan box which is located directly behind the glove box. It helps filter and eliminate dust, pollen, leaves and other debris passing through the fan box.
Most Jap spec EVO's have a compartment ready for a cabin filter but don't actually have one fitted
Cabin filters should be replaced at least once a year.
Step 1. Remove glove box.
Step 2. If your car does not have a cabin filter you will need to cut along the dotted line and make an opening.
Step 3. Once the panel has been removed clean out fan box.
Step 4. Slide new cabin filter in and secure with screws (not supplied)
