Returns Policy

WHAT can be returned?
Not all items are subject to our standard returns policy. Items that are special order or not in stock are subject to a return policy outline between Shift Performance Parts and the customer at time of purchase.

Once a product has been test fitted, installed or used it can no longer be returned.

Returns are not accepted for products that have been attempted to be installed by an unqualified person without experience. Shift Performance Parts will not be liable or responsible if an item cannot be installed/fitted correctly due to the reasons mentioned above.

RETURNS
All items returned are subject to a 45% (forty-five percent) restocking fee. Returns are not accepted on ignition systems, computers, electrical units, bulbs, lighting accessories, software, special orders, custom orders and non stocked items. All other returns or exchanges are accepted within 7 days after date of invoice. It is the customer’s responsibility to contact Shift Performance Parts within this time period to be eligible for a return. You may contact via email in our Contact Us page. All returns must be unused, in the same condition as sold to buyer and in its original packaging. Returned parts with missing packaging, instructions, or parts will be subject to a restocking fee. The returned item(s) must be accompanied with a copy of the original invoice. No returns or exchanges will be allowed if the item shows signs of having been installed, scratched, damaged or modified. If Shift Performance Parts does not accept a returned item as being defective and/or returnable for any reason, the buyer must accept any incurred cost. It is the responsibility of the customer to verify the correct part before ordering and installing a particular part. We do not accept returns if you make the wrong decision or simply change your mind. Credit Only is given where it applies.

 

WHEN do items need to be returned by?

Customers have 7 days from the day they receive their order to lodge a "request for return" with Shift Performance Parts.

WHERE do items need to be returned to?
Once "request for return" has been approved by Shift Performance Parts customers must arrange for their item(s) to be sent to 12/252 Hume Highway, Lansvale NSW 2166

HOW do customers return items?
All returns must be accompanied with the original invoice for the item(s) they wish to return.

SHIPPING for returns?
All return shipping costs are to be paid by the customers. However, in the event that an incorrect item has been sent Shift Performance Parts will cover return shipping costs.

CREDIT for returns?
Customers will be credited through the original gateway purchase method.

In store return option?
Customers are more than welcome to return items in person providing that the "request for return" has already been approved by Shift Performance Parts.

Packing materials?
All returns must be in original package. Packaging that is damaged and in an "unsellable" condition will incur a 20% repackaging fee.

 

Refund Policy.

Full refunds including shipping costs will be available in the instance of major faults/defects as per Australian Consumer Law

Shift Performance Parts cannot be held accountable for any additional costs involved outside the original purchase. This includes, but not limited to loss of income, additional transport costs, labour costs or any other costs directly or indirectly associated with the original purchase.

CANCELLATIONS
Any order which is cancelled with Shift Performance Parts within or after 24hrs from placement of order to the time of shipment will be subject to a cancellation fee of 20%.

 

AUTHORITY TO LEAVE

Shift Performance Parts is not liable for any orders that are lost, damaged, or stolen when customers have chosen a courier option as ATL (Authority To Leave)
